Campus

The School is divided up into Sections, depending on which Year the pupil is attending class. Each Section is housed in its own building with enough classrooms to cope with the number of different optional subjects and levels of English. All Retamar classrooms are fitted with a computer and a digital board.

The School has at its disposal a Library, containing more than 50,000 volumes; Laboratories: 1 each for Physics, Chemistry and Natural Science; 4 multi-media rooms and 2 computer labs.

In a recently constructed building are to be found the Oratory (with room for a congregation of 700) and the Assembly Hall (capacity 450).

Sports facilities: artificial grass football pitch (97x56m.); 3 seven-a-side artificial grass pitches: a 333m-long running track complete with areas for field events; 2 roller-hockey pitches; 6 hard-surface multisport areas; 4 paddle courts; 2 tennis courts. There is also an indoor sports hall with enough room for three basketball matches to be played at the same time. In the same hall you can find a tatami for judo. There is also a 25m indoor swimming pool.

There are four dining-halls of varying sizes, with enough room to seat pupils, teachers and staff for our daily lunch.

For the very young, there is a play area for infants next to the School entrance.

The recreational areas, where more than 300 conveniently identified kinds of vegetation abound, is ideally supplemented by a picnic area which can be used by pupils and their families at the weekend.

Just at the School entrance, there is a little chapel which was built a few years ago and dedicated to the statue of the Virgin Mary, which used to be in the old Retamar Oratory and to which thousands of alumni are greatly devoted.

The Year of 2017 presented the School with a mock-up of Retamar and how it looked after the 50th Anniversary celebrations and events. These photos clearly illustrate the School facilities:
