«Lektor», a dinosaur that helps with reading

For several years, to encourage reading in 3º Primaria, students have been participating in the reading project «Lektor».

This project, which involves parents, teachers, and students, goes on for the entire school year. It consists in filling out cards, one for each book, with the most relevant information and, after getting their parents’ signature at home, is handed in to the teacher who deposits it into the box. After the Christmas holidays, 3º Primaria students flocked in their masses to their Spanish language teachers to hand in their reading cards of the books read during the holidays. Each of them now walks a little bit taller (and wiser) because of the books they have read, and with the hope of receiving the well-deserved prize (ranging from a small bookmark after the first five cards, to a t-shirt at the end of the year for the boy who has read the most books in each class.
