Pupils from Years 9 and 10 Take Part in Repsol Competition

  • 06/04/2018

Retamar pupils from years 9 and 10 have been invited to take part in the energy efficiency competition run by Repsol. Following a visit they paid us in February, in which a group of 30 pupils from Years 9 and 10 received some input on the topic, some pupils have continued working on the subject on their own initiative. Year 10 are represented by their two “Captains” Jaime Ríos and Gonzalo de Bernardo, while Juan Gómez Elvira is leading Year 9. In order to analyse and carry out an energy audit on the School, our pupils have been contacting professional companies to apply for estimates on the three areas: electricity, water and gas. This will serve as a reference which will help with their proposals once the assessments have been made.
