2nd Baccalaureate Students attend the performance of ‘Antony and Cleopatra’

A few days ago some of my Year 13 classmates and I enjoyed the opportunity of attending a theatre play alongside our Spanish teacher, don Javier López Balda. This was the well-known Shakespeare play, ‘Antony and Cleopatra’.

The performance took place in the Teatro de la Comedia. The cast was outstanding, with some first-class names like; Ana Belén, Lluís Homar, Ernesto Arias, Luis Rallo and Javier Bermejo.

Despite the length of the play, we enjoyed it very much due to the staging and for the excellent performances. Personally, this was the first time I had ever attended the theatre and was enchanted by it, from the embellishment of the theatre to the emotions that the actors conveyed. It was astounding.

When the play finished, I waited for the actors to greet them, and had the pleasure of talking with nearly all of them. I even managed the autograph of Ana Belén and Lluís Homar.
