The major of Pozuelo de Alarcón presented, in a ceremony hold in the Teatro Mira, the annual awards on Academic Success and Excellence which the town hall grants to those students from schools in Pozuelo. These awards are given to those students who have concluded their studies in Primary education or Secondary with the upmost scores. 

This year, these honors have fallen, in Retamar, to: Jaime Gil-Turner Ruenes and Juan Kindelán Pérez-Andujar (students from Year 8 – 1°ESO – who have obtained their merit for their trajectory in Primary); Borja Rodríguez Hermida and Álvaro de Cárdenas Caruana (students from Year 12 – 1°Bachillerato – who have obtained such merit for their trajectory in ESO).
